Description Artists’ pencils are ideal for drawing and sketching. Dry pencils mix well with each other and even wash out with water. Oil pencils give a richer touch and do not require fixing. A pastel black pencil is recommended for sketching. Combines well with sanguine, sepia and other pencils, and can also be washed out with water. White Pastel is excellent for combining with Charcoal, Sanguine and Sepia, and for lightening colour tones. Dry sanguine perfectly combines with pastel crayons and charcoal. The oil sanguine has a brilliant rich touch. Since it contains fat, it is waterproof and does not bleed. Sepia light and dark lend themselves very well for combining with Pastels and Charcoal. Available in medium grade.
